Geneva-based Tipimages Productions was founded in 2006 by Francine Lusser and Gérard Monier. Today, the Tipimages Productions catalogue includes films in a wide range of genres, from drama to comedy, documentaries and series. Passionately supported, these films are always chosen and produced with one priority in mind: their artistic and international ambition. Their eclectic editorial line and their ability to produce films of international scope have made Tipimages Productions one of the major players in Swiss independent film production.

Francine Lusser has worked for over 15 years as a location manager and production manager. She organized national and international film shoots before setting up the Tipimages, a production service company, in 2003. She is a member of the EAVE network and national coordinator for Switzerland. She was a member of the Swiss Federal Film Commission (CFC) until the end of 2019, a member of the Mediadesk Suisse experts until the end of 2020, a member of the SUISSIMAGE committee, a member of the SFP (the Swiss film producers' association), a member of the SWISSPERFORM Delegates’ Assembly of the audiovisual producer expert group, a member of the Canton of Berne's selective film commission until the end of 2023, and a member of the Cinéforom selective commission pool from January 2024. Francine Lusser holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Berne, Switzerland.

In France and abroad, Gérard Monier has been involved in the preparation and production of numerous feature-length fiction films and over 50 TV movies and series, both contemporary and period, for over 25 years. In 2000, he took over executive production of Franco-Swiss TV movies and international feature films before founding Tipimages. He is a member of ADP (the French production manager’s association) and of the Cinéforom expert pool in Switzerland. Gérard Monier is a graduate of I.D.H.E.C (Institut des Hautes Études Cinématographiques) in Paris.
